Okay, so, I wanted to ask about my linearts.
Don't get me wrong, I'm under no illusions that my art is especially good or my techniques are advanced or anything.
But... still,
if I can do one thing in the world of art, it's lineart.
My linearts > sketches and paintings
I'm asking, since in my latest deviation, someone pointed it out as choppy, but later revised her opinion that it wasn't that the lineart was choppy and I resized it wrong, but my linewidth was actually detracting from the lines, as it had not rhyme or reason.
Another person simply told me that when she looked at it, she thought it was "Ew."
Tetsuo said they looked high. (XDDDD I suck at telling what my characters look like.)
Soo, what do you think? Is my line width random and distracting, making it look choppy? If so, how can I fix it? IE put more emphasis on adjusting line width to shading and whatnot?
